For every traveler there is a road
And every road leads to a fork
Where each must choose the way he goes
Without seeing the road’s end
And we expend our energies
In toil and uncertainties
Running when we are sure of feet
or halting step, afraid to fall
At times we hear whispers divine
When circumstances fall in line
Coincidences…miracles?
Then we forget and journey on
What if there is an unseen world
Beyond all our imaginings
Where God resides and angels sing
And joy unspeakable is free?
There is a road that we must choose
There is a door- we have the key
There is a moment fixed in time
When we choose simply to believe
Because He died, we can choose life
There is a cross on Calvary’s hill
A new beginning born of faith
That only says “Your will- not mine”
And when we open wide that door
Life is not as it was before
But colors take a brighter hue
And Jesus answers “I love you-
You are the one I died to save
You are the apple of my eye
For you I went through death and grave
Come walk with me- my burden’s light”
For every traveler there’s a road
And every road leads to the fork
Where each must choose the way he goes
And so eternity begins…
