I thank you, Lord for bright blue skies
For gentle breeze and birds that fly
For waters sparkling in the sun
For all the wonders You have done
For earth and sky and night and day
I thank you, Lord, for what you’ve made

For big bear hugs from those who care
For love and light and peace and joy
For giggles of little girls and boys
For family feasts and get togethers
For autumn leaves and crisp cool weather
I thank you, Lord for what you’ve planned
All good things coming from your hand

Clothing yourself in flesh and bone
You lived your life as one of us
Your journey ended at the cross
